Agroecotur and its founding members (CIPAV Foundation, Resnatur and Fundación Horizonte Verde) carry on multiple projects and initiatives dealing with different aspects of rural development and biodiversity conservation. In these projects, tourism is often an essential issue, as an instrument for improving quality of life in rural communities and as an instrument for biodiversity conservation and sustainable production.

For the above reason, Agroecotur has conceived training courses and workshops dealing with the essentials of tourism and key issues for the effective application of tourism in rural scenarios. Courses and workshops have a well defined structure, aiming at empowering rural communities through tourism.
