Uncommon in humid and mossy forest of the Pacific slope in the Western Andes of Colombia, between 700-2200m.
Singly or in pairs & family groups, joins mix flocks while probing for insects in bromeliads and thick tangles.
Can be seen in Cerro Montezuma and Las Tangaras reserve.
