A shy and difficult to see antpitta found spottily between 1850-3800m in forest undergrowth of the Eastern Andes of Colombia.
Endemic to Colombia. More often heard than seen, this gracious antpitta can be seen at Chingaza National Park.
Formerly a race of the Rufous Antpitta complex.
